Why we built this
We The Vetted is an openly conservative voter guide. We grade Republican candidates against a constitutional-originalist standard — the Second Amendment first, plus the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Tenth Amendments. We do not score Democratic candidates. Every rating is our own editorial assessment based on public records, votes, and candidate statements. No rating can be bought.
We The Vetted exists to answer the question thousands of Illinois gun owners ask every election: who do I actually vote for — and is my Republican the real deal or a RINO?
We grade the Republican nominee in each race — local to Congress — on a plain 1–10 scale, the Second Amendment front and center, plus the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Tenth Amendment rights that decide whether Illinois stays free. Then we show you the contrast with their Democrat opponent, so you walk into November knowing exactly who's with you and why to show up. The scorecard is free, and it always will be.
