Where Illinois Candidates Stand On The Constitution
Our own honest read — a 1–10 scorecard on the rights that matter most. The Second Amendment first: whether you can still own, carry, build, and buy in Illinois — plus your First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment freedoms. Federal to local.
These are our opinions, based on the public record — not a paid endorsement and not coordinated with any campaign. Nobody can buy a score. Donation links go straight to each candidate's own campaign.

How We Score Based On Our Second Amendment Rights
Every candidate gets a 1–10 rating on ten Illinois issues that hit gun owners and our industry directly. A higher number means stronger for your rights. The overall grade is the average of the issues we've rated.
More Than One Good Choice?
Some races are fortunate to have two or three strong, pro-industry candidates. When that happens we list them all as vetted champions rather than crowning one — use the Compare tool to put their scorecards side by side and decide for yourself.
Breaking Updates On These Races
New scores, candidate events, and where the fights stand — straight from the shop. No spam, just what matters to Illinois gun owners.
This voter guide reflects the opinions of We The Vetted based on candidate meetings and the public record. Scores are our assessment and may be updated as records change. Nothing here is a paid endorsement, a campaign contribution, or coordinated with any candidate or committee. We accept no payment for inclusion; any donation links point to the candidates' own official campaigns. Always confirm your ballot and districts with official Illinois election resources.
