Our Take

Ajay Gupta is running on a platform of fiscal sanity, spending restraint, pension reform, and competitive taxation for Illinois. As a family-run Illinois manufacturer, we know firsthand how this state's tax and regulatory climate drives businesses and hard-working residents out the door. Gupta's website spells out that same problem in detail, pointing to the 460,000 Illinoisans who have fled to lower-tax states and the shrinking tax base that follows. A candidate who understands why employers and families are leaving is a candidate worth a serious look from anyone in the Illinois firearms industry.

Beyond the economics, we know Ajay personally, and he is a Second Amendment supporter all the way. He does not believe in the SAFE-T Act, he does not believe in red flag laws, and he has been clear and consistent about where he stands. We've spoken with him extensively and know his position firsthand.

That's why we've given Ajay a 10 out of 10 across the board on our scorecard. He's a fantastic fit for State Rep, and he has our full confidence.
